As part of a student design development for a master’s degree project, I was responsible for the creation of a parametric ceiling design for a concert hall. My work involved using Rhino and Grasshopper 3D to model the entire ceiling form, including intricate details that balanced acoustic performance with the aesthetics of a traditional Persian dome.
I meticulously developed the ceiling structure, ensuring that the parametric design met the acoustic requirements of the space while preserving the cultural authenticity of the Persian dome. In addition to model-making, I also produced high-quality visualizations to convey the final design effectively.
This project exemplifies the integration of advanced modeling techniques with cultural design elements, resulting in a concert hall ceiling that is both functionally and aesthetically exceptional.
